About us

We are a small workshop in Jaipur working in dabu block printing, indigo dyeing. Everything in our shop is made by hand, in small batches, by the people you read about here.

Made to order? Message us through support and we will tell you how long it takes.
Each piece is wrapped in recycled paper and packed by hand.
Small differences in colour and finish are the mark of handmade work.

The maker’s story

In Bagru the river water and the sun decide our colours. I carve some of my own teak blocks, mix the mud resist from local clay and dye every length of cloth in indigo vats our mohalla has used for decades.
