Seller agreement

This agreement is between you and Handmade Marketplace Private Limited, which runs Handmade Marketplace. You accept it when you apply to sell, and again whenever we publish a new version.

Handmade only

Everything you list must be made by hand by you or your own workshop. Resold, wholesale, mass-produced or factory-made goods are not allowed. Your descriptions, photos and making process must be true.

Verification

You give us accurate identity, business, tax and bank details and keep them up to date. We may ask for more evidence at any time, and may refuse or suspend an account that does not meet our standards.

Listings and orders

• Every product is reviewed before it is shown, and again when you change how it is described or made.
• Keep your stock accurate, and dispatch orders within the time shown on the product page.
• Pack items safely and add the courier and tracking number to the order.
• Honour returns and refunds under our published policies.

Fees and payouts

We keep a commission on each sale, shown in your seller dashboard before you list. Payouts are sent to your verified bank account after safe delivery, less commission, taxes collected at source and any refunds.

Taxes and the law

You are responsible for the taxes on your sales and for following the laws that apply to your products, including the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

Ending the agreement

You can close your shop at any time once open orders are complete. We may suspend or close a shop that breaks this agreement, after telling you why.
