About us

We are a small workshop in Kondagaon working in dhokra lost-wax brass casting, bamboo weaving. Everything in our shop is made by hand, in small batches, by the people you read about here.

Made to order? Message us through support and we will tell you how long it takes.
Each piece is wrapped in recycled paper and packed by hand.
Small differences in colour and finish are the mark of handmade work.

The maker’s story

Every Dhokra piece is cast only once: we shape it in wax over a clay core, wrap it in clay and pour molten brass in place of the wax. The mould is broken to free it, so no two are alike.
