About us

We are a small workshop in Puducherry working in hand-poured soy candles, cotton rag paper. Everything in our shop is made by hand, in small batches, by the people you read about here.

Made to order? Message us through support and we will tell you how long it takes.
Each piece is wrapped in recycled paper and packed by hand.
Small differences in colour and finish are the mark of handmade work.

The maker’s story

Our paper starts as cotton offcuts from the tailors down the road. We beat it to pulp, lift each sheet by hand and stitch the journals at the same table where we pour our candles.
